There is always more to life than meets the eye. Just slowing things down for a closer look... what do you see?

High gloss, healthy, fukurin...you name it, it's all there! And who needs a microscope when you can zoom in like that

But there's more than I'm probably seeing, isn't there? I read somewhere about the PH affecting the luster...I'm guessing yours is as good as it gets or/and I know your both relegious about water changes.

Tell me more

Hey Busy, Our ph is on the high side 8 to 8.2 and a little hard. Never consider ph an issue as long as it's fresh:grin: The water changes are a big part of keeping ph stable and constant whatever the value is, that keeps them healthy and that will make them shine. Our well water is better than the average bottled water you buy at the store according to a water filter salesman last night told us. Poor kid thought he would have an easy sale

 Poor kid wasn't happy, was he?

Our's is also a well...nice aquifer that feeds it. The Peninsula is mostly sand so plenty of time for the water to bubble up thru. Altho some parts are higher in iron content than others, we're pretty lucky.

So the underlying message is stable PH and good clean healthy water

And a great photographer
