In a maner of speaking
I drew up a template and Ian cut these out. I drew the patterns and Ian painted them(paint by colour code LOL). Joint effort all the way. Each side is painted different so you see something different coming and going !wow!

That is neat! What a great idea and not so big and bold to be offensive like some biz's signs...

Those would be a hit at a koi show.

Winter time activity?

Boy those are nice. I would love to have some of those up in my filter house on the walls.

I was there and they really catch your eye from a long way up the road. The walls of the fish house are also nicely decorated with fishy paintings.

Terri,
Those are AMAIZING!!
Pam, I hope you are reading this post. Those would be the finishing trim on our pond (keeping in mind we will never be finished).
Can we borrow your idea Terri?
Those would look great hanging from the deck's new awning.

Rem, go ahead... not like we've got a patent on these things

Busy, I think we will make more and most likely this winter when we're not so occupied - ok I know we will as there is a plan in the works for a sign on the fishouse front wall. The kids also want us to make a Santa sleigh with Koi instead of reindeer for the frontyard...!rofl

I really need to get my creative juices flowing again so next project I may put a bit more detail into them and might even paint a few myself! :-? I used to have quite the talent for this sort of thing years ago...

Oh, Terri - a Santa sleigh with koi as reindeer! Now that's a yard decoration I can get behind! I love your koi - I may have my sister, who is quite an artist, paint me some of those. I know I've seen pictures of your fish-house wall with the koi painted on it, but I haven't been able to remember where! Geez, getting older is a pain in the arse!

I think these are the same templates Terri send me in the mail (bless her heart). I used them to make plastic templates, that I used as inlays in the cement I poured for my sidewalk to my koihouse... Fantastic!!

Thanks again Terri :thankU:

Greg, that looks so cool! Very clever, I like it. Yours and your daughters hand prints are a nice touch :)
