Just popped over to see your website Dayleen, wonderful!!!

I wonder if anyone has used the melafix as a topical application? Put in on a scrape rather than in the water.

Thanks Jackie....i made it myself. Now if i could figure out how to make thumbnails, the pages would load faster for non cable users.

I also noticed after seeing my web site on other peoples computers that my name on the front page seems to show up in different ways. I have it designed in a handwritting font but some come up in really big bold font, how did it look on yours? (just above the picture)

Dayleen the font looked like Zapf Chancery Bold or so the font specialist says. He has a font designed on a womans handwritting let me know and I will have him send it to you. It is not his, it was on a site years ago as freeware. He uses it a lot and it is very nice.

Terri also finds that what works on her screen for my website doesn't necessarily work on mine.

Web design and Melafix, what a clash.. LOL

Dayleen, it depends on the person's browser and what fonts it will recognize. If it doesn't recognize the font it will use a browser default like Times Roman or Ariel. If you know how to write a css script you can force their browsers to identify the font.

Thumbnails... just need to resize the photo and save as a copy of the orginal, optimize the thumbs to between 60 - 75 dpi web. Then you link the thumbnail to the original... so you need two file folders, one for thumbs and one for originals. Setting the thumbs up in a table gives it form and function.

Thanks ladies!!! I wondered about why the handwritting font didn't come up on all browsers. I don't like the overly large bold print i have seen on some. Not sure why it gets so large either.

Jackie, if you don't mind sending me that....i'll give it a shot when i'm done my tax papers...such fun...lol

Terri, I'll copy your instructions...see if i can get to that as well when the paperwork is done.

Thanks again !!

Dayleen, send me your email and I'll have him send it to you. You aren't allowing emails from the site.

Hi Dayleen,

I think that might be because as a rule, not everyone has the same fonts installed.

What you could do Dayleen is create a graphic with the font you want displayed for your signature. Place that instead of text.
Some examples...

p.s. when I get a sec I'm going to split this thread and move the web stuff to chit chat.. if no one objects...
