Hi all thanks for the welcome, and Jackie you are right that was a crash course, one I hope I never have to do again. :( .

Ok I have posted a question under Koi ponds, I would be interested in all of your thoughts on the the subject of my post. The one thing I did not say was that as Jackie knows, I care for all of my Koi like a father I would do what ever was needed to keep them healthy.

so dont be too harsh with your replies :)

Merlin the effort you put forth to help Lucky was wonderful. A crash course of hands on koi keeping for you for sure. Sad that with the tumour at the stage it was when the fish reached you, nothing could be done. But you certainly tried everything. Many of us learned, thanks to your efforts.
