I have a new 4220 gallon liner pond with a Savio living waterfall fillter, Savio skimmer, (2) 4" bottom drains, 2 sequence pumps and a Nexus filter with Answer.
I just moved my Koi from the Q-tank to yhe pond yesterday. They are loving it.
Here are a few pics of my koi.

Hi Billy and welcome to the forum

Nice collection! Did you buy them all at the same time? Brand new pond?

Got pics of the whole pond?

No. I bought the 4 smaller Koi last winter. They were about 4" long.
The 3 Kohaku were bought in Marc they were about 7 " long.
The small koi are srowing so fast that they are catching up to the big ones.
When the rain stops I'll take some pics of the pond. That may be this weekend.

Oregon huh? Well someone finally in my neck of the woods

So you don't have a new pond? Sounds like a nice setup.

The newest fish are coming out of quarintine?

Yes the pond is new. I'm still doing the landscape and pavers.
All the fish were in the 300 gallon Q-tank till yesterday.

The small fish in the pond photos is a renegade feeder goldfish. It is one that wore me out trying to catch it. So now it thinks it is a koi.
I named it Rebel.

Greetings, and welcome to better advice than you'll get from books and sales people. If it weren't for this forum, I'm sure I would have filled in our main 10,000 gallon pond and just kept our 2,000 gallon secondary pond. Greg's CD shows awesome ways to keep your costs down on several projects, and I recommend it highly. Terri and Ian have a wealth of knowledge and are willing to share. Everyone is so friendly, and willing to share knowledge based on experience, not concept or profit-generating. Had I landed here last fall, I probably wouldn't have lost 96 fish or be even half in the mess we are in right now (see my thread "My first spring with a pondmare")

Nice fish. I'm a bit weepy to see one that resembles our only semi-surviving koi, Roy. He's hopefully hiding somewhere in the upper pond, but I haven't seen him for a while. Coons, mink, heron, 3 dogs and a 5 year old son have made him pretty shy of visitors.....friend and foe alike.

Got some pics of your pond ?

I also have greg's CD. I made The Venturi and the thru liner pvc gaskets.
I live in Oregon and it's raining to hard to take pics. Maybe I'll get to take a few this weekend.
