The new expanded pond is done! Water is still a little murky but it is now complete. It is about 11x16 with about half of it 3' deep. The waterfall/stream is about 12' long.

Chuck it looks huge!! I bet the wet kids are happy. Can't wait to see it with the plants growing and the flowers blooming. I can almost hear that stream. Good work from your installer.

Yup, my installer shined again. Some of the plants are waking up. Be great to see all the pond plants and outside planting going.

Took 4 guys day one and 3 guys day two to complete the expansion. We have tough dirt here on the mountain.

Water is getting pretty clear today, the kids will love it when it warms up. We are expecting temps near 70 so that will help.

Hi Bee,
They were in a holding tank overnight with a bubbler going. That is the fish, 8 frogs and 2 snails. All waiting patiently, haha.

Everyone,
Thanks for all the compliments. It was a long wait over the winter BUT, it was worth it. My guys did good!

The neighbors are going to hate you! You should win "beautiful yard of the year"

Did they bring the tank to house the fish? Did they net it?

Going to look so pretty when everything fills out...You need a bench and a footstool and a side table close by...I'd never get up...I'd be staring at it all day

Or do you just use your stoop?

Sounds like you got the bases covered Chuck, just sit back and let it grow.

Bee,
Yes they brought the tank and did net and put them in a tub to move to the tank.

There is a stone bench, see picture three above, we spend many hours there.

The flowers in and out are starting to grow.
