Ok minor as it is compared to another I have just read ( Made me tired just reading about all the work !rofl) In the UK unless you are quite wealthy you have to make do with the size of the home you can afford, and unfortunatly large gardens come second place. My rear garden is aprox 40' x 40' , the building of the conservatory ( now my Den) eats in to that space, hence the size of my pond was restricted.
Outide my den I have a patio aprox 20'x12' at present I have what is known as a car port covering it, I needed somewhere to work when building the xmas display. It is not only ugly but a pain in the butt to asemble each time I used it. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v626/Chateauwizard/000124021434.jpg
So my task for the summer is to remove that, and build a pagoda above the patio, with the addition of a roll down waterproof blind on the top. I can then work underneath it to my hearts content, and roll it up when the sun shines.
I will add to this post as soon as I start it, which should be within the next month or two.
