You would of thought the tourists hit for the summer...:-?
Our towns population is around 3000...few smaller towns scattered around in the general vicinity..radius of about 70 miles. Today a new hardware and fishing tackle shop opened their doors for a grand opening. They have been in the community for at least 20 years just in a different location. They built a huge, new nice mega store and for the first 5000 customers that walked thru the doors they were giving away silver dollars.!dude They opened the doors at 10 this morning. My car went into the shop so we got there at about 10 till...When we finally found a place to park and made it across the highway we kinda joined the group at the front...there were people in line all the way around the parking lot and the block..It was so crammed you couldn't look to shop or walk...we lasted 20 minutes but lost my son in the rush. Waited outside..the fire dept showed up and shut the doors so more people couldn't go in..the max for the store was 450. By 2:00 people were still standing in line and the silver dollars were gone:-P Who would of ever figured a hardware/tackle store would be the event of the year!rofl
