Nice Pick KD, That one caught my eye to.

I also think this one will be sharp looking as a much larger fish in a few years with some good lenght and weight. Untill I get the new filter up and running no more for me. I wounder what Terri would charge me for room & board for a year ! LOL

Jackie Ramo
04-28-2010, 06:31 PM
Those little fish won't make an impact on the filter and will make sure you upgrade

I can't take the suspense any longer .... I know Canadian Koi & Pond received another koi shipment today and the thought of seeing new pics is driving me crazy... it's like I'm on koi crack and a need a fix somethin' awful!! Maybe before bedtime we'll have some news, otherwise I may be up all night!!

Disclaimer:

No need to point out that I'm crazy... You see, when it comes to koi I have no self control... Not to worry though, I'm being monitored closely by my doctor (currently camped out in my backyard with an industrial size net (for me)).

No Chris, just seems as though I'm working night and day no time for anything else not even a good sleep, but did top up the pond as the level did go down a bit and it's a bit hard getting water from it to water my new trees, will try to spend a little more time out back with the koi instead of all my time out in the front garden, haven't had any time to set up my UV light back into the filtration system yet maybe next week as I'm on vacation then. :)

Just a few that arrived Friday morning,...

http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r256/TJcanada/Koi%20Photos/jpn-075.jpg http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r256/TJcanada/Koi%20Photos/jpn-083.jpg http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r256/TJcanada/Koi%20Photos/jpn-005.jpg http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r256/TJcanada/Koi%20Photos/jpn-048.jpg

The first three are 'obvious' and good examples of their variety,... but (name that koi) what is the 4th?

philly
05-09-2010, 12:11 AM
Very nice looking kois Terri. I like in this order 1, 3, 2, don't know what the 4th one is doesn't do much for me now but could be different when fully grown and developed. :yup:
