Had my hair cut this morning and decided to get the snow tires off as they wear down very fast in the summer, well there is one small catch every wheel you change over cost between $20.00 to $25.00 each tire, to save money I got new rims and tires of course when it's all done the bill was almost $1000.00 :censored: but it had to be done.

when i went... i had to buy 2 new all-year tires (i had gotten a flat... and my mom got a flat, so our spare wasn't a spare when i got the flat, but thankfully the flat i got could be patched)... but since the guys know my family cause we have 4 cars and yeah... they did my sisters car for free. :) so overall it cost 400 i think.

The most important thing is that your car is safe and tires are a must even if it's cost you a lot. I have seen many accidents due to their tires being worn and not having the proper traction the sad thing is when they hit another vehicle it could be you. :banghead:

Of course it's a full blown mop, gee everyone always ask me that same question because I'm always wearing a hat, it might be a little grey but it's there alright can't guarantee it will be there later on but right now i have bragging rights.

We put new tires on DH's car before the trip....the car had been his mom's, it's a 97, with origional tires with less then 30,000miles on them, but they become dry/brittle as they age so we didn't want to chance it. They should last for some time. We do not have snow tires, just the regular ones

Marla, does that mean you have no snow over there that you don't need snow tires. :frisbee:

No I use to own a 3,000 square feet repair shop for almost 10 years and then bought a Baskin Robbins ice cream shop after the garage was sold, what a mistake I had to work 7 days a week. :banghead:

Oh we have snow, but they plow pretty good. We have good all around tires on the car.
Owning your own bussiness is a big responsibility. My Aunt and Uncle owned an Ice Cream place and a Pool Hall at the same time....they were never home either.
