Well, finished hooking the underground plumbing lines to the pond on Sunday - Allowed it to set for a day and refilled yesterday afternoon. When I woke this morning the pond had lost about 1" to 1.5" of water... not really that much, but thought I'd check to see if I should be concerned or not. I think once the new pump is running it may mend the leak by filling it with gunk..What do you think??

KD (the one with huge blisters!!)

Not if it pumps a lot you will be waiting quite awhile for the leak to get plugged..

Didn't I hear you say it would be okay if it leaked a little??? :-?

Leaks are a pita, best to have no leaks.

KD, besides the little leak you have how is your filter doing since starting it up, did the flange work out the way you expected ? :-)

Eeverything is fine!!! Had no leak after all... Noticed a spot where my liner had slipped while empty... SO RELIEVED!! Flange is perfect. Waiting for some final pieces before I switch over pumps - Should be up and running by next week, then the only thing I have to do is tweak the electrical hook-ups by adding on/off switches and all will be done... that is, as far as this years projects go ~

It's great when things go the way you want it too and on/off switches is a must if you don't want to be pulling the plug end all the time, that's what I did with my plug outlet one is live all the time and the other works with the switch.

It's called the lazy man's way pulling the plugs and putting them back is way too much work. :HAHA:

Well all my wall plugs are connected on to 4 separate breakers in the fuse panel so if one trips the rest will still work. :yup:
