hi thanks for the welcome i will try and post some pics of my pond they are only winter pics with the covers on to keep the heat in i only got the digi camera in december.
the pond is 5000 uk gals inc filters depth 6feet 1 bd to vortex then 5 bay chamber with brushes jap mat flocore sponge then jap mat.
at the opposit end to the filters is a backi shower filled with backi media that is fed using a syphon method.

Welcome... Lovely fish and I can see yet another reason why a raised pond has benefits.

Look at the Yamabuki, and that Matsuba, and that kohaku and Sanke.. and and :grin: Nice fish!
Very neat pond aim, can't wait to see photo's of it uncovered, keep those pics coming :-)
Jackie did you notice where aim is from... WHITBY! My parents live in Whitby, ... Ontario that is !rofl

thanks for the welcome every one,
busy b i think the backi is great i put it on at the end of june 04 within 4 weeks it was mature no trace of amonia or nitrite since and puts lots of 02 in the water wouldnt want to be without it now.
when i have some more pics i will post them.
