Very nice. :yup:
Very nice indeed. He's so talented. I've given up on wood furniture, I need stuff made of stone that's dog proof. :HAHA:

Excellent job Ian! Terri you should have Ian start making things like that for the winter time to sell as a second source of income. I will only charge you 5% royalties for the idea he he.

Phil, Lynnea beat you to it... she's already told her Dad that this piece would sell in any store it was shown in :)
Jackie, yup  New paint, new couch, new floors(sort of, were done in the summer), and base board in the works. We have a new dinning table set as well - not really "new", was a gift from a friend as she didn't need it anymore.
Cindy, I hear you... I pleaded with Ian to put stainless steel caps on the feet/legs so Reba couldn't damage this table. You can see in the last picture how Reba is doing a number on the coffee table. I just noticed a couple days ago that she is also chewing one of the dinning room chairs  Damn Dog!
Thanks all for your nice comments on Ian's work :) :)
I have to agree, Ian did a great job on the table. There is a product called scoot that you can get at the garden centers. It's for keeping dogs, cats, skunks and other critters out of the garden. I believe it has no oder for humans but animals don't like it. Try putting some on the old coffee table and see if Reba stops chewing on it. (also to see that it does not discolor the stain). If it works, you can spray the rest of the legs in the house.

There is also a product called Bitter Apple that vets use to deter chewing on tails and paws. Works damn good
Funny story: Years ago we had a siamese cat who for some reason began to chew the end off her tail. The vet gave us the Bitter Apple and we applied it and when she chewed her tail the taste was soooo bitter she foamed at the mouth. We put her outside and went to work. Ariana calls me at work to tell me Tanya, our cat, has rabies because she is foaming at the mouth :HAHA: Tanya never chewed her tail again and it took only one application.

Terri, that table is absolutely beautiful, I hope Reba stays away from it as I can see the legs on the coffe table and that wouldn't look so good on the new one. We used bitter apple for our dogs when they were young.
