Showa spawn sneak peek

I know that this is a depresing time, so with everybody zipping up their ponds for the winter, I thought it would be nice to start thinking of what spring might hold. We pulled a few of these up from our showa pond to check their progress this morning. They were tucked away back into their pond this evening.

Evening Chris. Not sure I could convince them to trade in there tank tops and flip flops for parkas and snow shoes. :grin:

Nice group of showa Kieffer :) one or two (or more) in there I wouldn't mind having to watch grow-out... any pictures of the parents?

Yes there are a couple I like. I think the ones I like are the old fashioned showa with more white showing.

Tell them we have no Gators. So they go for a winter nap for a few months more. :lol: Send some north. :yup: :bump:
