You'll probably get sick of me posting pics of wildlife but I can't help it;)

My hubby works on the North Slope...that is at the top of the state. He's been up there a long time and usually brings home shots of something. Here are a couple he had saved...the polar bear was last week while they were moving between camps. The caribou was a shot from last summer. Hope you enjoy..

Nice pics.

Im a 'bit" of a shutterbug myself and wildlife/outdoor shots always get my attention so I'll always appreciate them as long as Terri doesn't mind. Id love a shot of the Northern Lights (hint) and have tried for 2 years to get one while in Alqonguin Park

If Terri doesnt mind heres a couple of my fav's taken in Alqonquin park last summer.

Never tired of pics myself... love the polar bear.

Maybe the environmentalists are pulling our legs when they say the caribou will leave the oil well sites..... they seem almost tame.

This particular critter is in a zoo. He's a Mexican gray wolf. A rare critter and if anyone has dogs that hound for food by sitting their head on the couch you know why I love this shot ;-) I was yelling at my boyfriend to hurry up and get the shot before he moved lol.

Apparently this little "bug" has a sting quite like a scorpion... ouch!

One more...

Our resident friendly spider... I call her "momma" as she populated our garage with her offspring!

Ewwww...creepy crawlies!!

Love the pics Wulff..specially the sunset...beautiful!

Hubby was in the truck when he snapped the bear...not uncommon to be on polar bear watch.

Hide my geese! There's an owl in the trees!

Terri, that centipeede bug would be a smear on the carpet before I went looking for the camera! !wow!

I DON'T LIKE CREEPY CRAWLIES!!!!

Although some spiders can be cool. We get alot in the summer. I guess we need a life, but in the evenings it's quite peaceful watching a spider spin it's web.

Then my DH gives the "web tour" of the backyard with his flashlight :D

Uh I hate to tell you this Mudsow but if your watching a spider spin it's web...you do need a life  J/K

That just means your realize what is important...kicked back enjoying mother nature at her finest!

Jackie,
My guys have to learn to not nudge a lot. The lightest one is about 60 lbs. Being pushy is not an option or acceptable. I do let them think they're lap dogs still. My youngest (he's got to be 90 lbs now) will lay on me if I'm trying to go to sleep and he wants attention...I can still pet him turn my head and wiggle my toes but that's about it

Yes Dewi, Amber is female and blind and deaf so nudging is her main option if that doesn't work she barks, just like a wife! !rofl

90lbs!!! thats not a dog, but a small horse!!! !wow!

Slowly taking foot out of mouth , so that I can stand in the corner

 No corner necessary. Little dogs do get away with more things than big dogs do. I don't necessariily think they should but they do. Mind a 90 lb dog looking at you has a presence that an 8 lb dog does not. One might not see the little one but the big one is hard to miss.

I hate little yappy dogs. But it is not the dog's fault but the owners for letting them. People treat them like babies instead of dogs.
