I'm Stoked this come may!! I really enjoyed some of the DVD stuff from Koi Bito Magaziene and koi kichi 2. This concept will be pretty cool and to have Brady and crew at the helm you know it will be good.

A little pricy but probablhy worth it for those more inot the koi part of the hobby. That would be 104.00 US to me for 6 dvd's.

I am seriously thinking about it. It would be $14 US per DVD. That is not bad. I am sure it would be great to learn from. Heck who couldn't stand watching Koi on the big screen?

....Rembrandt quietly lurking in the deep....

Cinn, I thought we were going to do the late night infomercial... "Relaxing KOI moments" "...but wait, there's more! Order now and receive as an additional bonus, soothing sounds of birds! Only three easy payments of $19.95 plus a ridiculous amount of shipping and handling..."

(please note this is a parady)

I have a dvd recorder and cable... why would I buy one  just kidding!! I have bought many movies My point is that its expensive for a product that is much much cheaper than a magazine to produce. This has nothing to do with content as I haven't seen it yet.

here is my take...if a picture is worth a thousand words...what is a moving picture worth.
This beats the crap out of magazines...limited Still pics
it'll be cool to put it on at koi social events.
and it will last.
And you get part of Brady's brain with each disc.

At 15-25 grand for a super 16..not including sound equipment, lighting, travel expenses and being created by someone who "is" koi, as opposed to some B00B member of Israelis parliament...
The DVD is a bargain.
I'm quite sure the content will involve accurate , informative info, unlike the usual blathering of five fish wonders intermingled with page after page of addyzzz from junk brokers and snake oil salesman who actual pay the cost ( and WAAAAAY more) to have the majority of these ovepriced wastes of paper littering the mail system.

Yer !welcome

So that's where you went to....

and I'd appreciate it if their were ads...heck koi infomercials would be worth watching and slamming ON THE 'NET!

Hi Jackie,

Yes Koi Fixx has no paid advertising,... it's produced solely from subscriptions - a little like XM Satellite radio, or HBO. Having no paying advertisers allows us to do and say what is accurate and honest without influence from ad money. We want to be able to say a product works or doesn't work, and why,... and we want to be able to mention ANY Koi related product, and visit any breeder, dealer, show, manufacturing facility, or any event without influence from paying advertisers. As an example,... if koi Fixx does a feature on a hobbyist's pond and that hobbyist is using Brand A pumps and filters, BUT Brand B is a high paying advertiser,... Brand B would get upset if we allowed the hobbyist to rave and rave about his Brand A pump and filter, SO we would be forced (by money) to edit out the raving of Brand A, even if it were a very good product. Unfortunately that's how the system of advertising and sponsorships works,...

So Koi Fixx has chosen to be ad free, and instead be an open pipeline of accurate open quality information. This freedom from advertising influences does make the subscription price a little higher,... but you have my word the music alone in each issue of Koi Fixx is worth the subscription price. The content in each issue is way out there! Koi Fixx is a first in Koi!

Best Wishes,
Brady Brandwood

I knew we could chase you out of the bushes Brady :frisbee:

Well I understand now that the price has to be higher. I'll pinch some pennies and see if I can come up with the money but you have to understand that once the money conversion takes place its a chunk of change up here in the great white north. I'm trying to save for a bigger pump. And certainly the fish are not about to give up shrimp. !rofl

I got mine today....brady skinny-dipping with those big ol magoi....man he is brave.
But the best part was the peaceful quiet time i got to spend looking at koi.
Things I was most amazed at:
how much better CFKS koi were to the Cali Koi.
That there is a guy in LA breeding good koi, but brady's magoi cross looks extremely close to his Grandmother koi from Dainichi.
That brady must go through alot of koi tranquilizer cuz he can pick his koi up and they don't flop on the concrete.
You'll get yours next week in Oh canada. !rofl

I saw some knees ;-)

We got ours!!! I love it, have watched it twice... great segiment about the Magoi. Really enjoyed the way the two koi shows were handled, each different from a different perspective(man,.. can schilders ramble LMAO). I'd say more but then I'd give too much away... needless to say if you haven't subscribed to Koi Fixx - Do It - you won't be disappointed in the least!
