Yesterday Holly (my little pumpkin) turned 13. :alright: All 3 of the kids are teens now, I think time needs to start standing still for awhile. Here's some pics from the party, we were staying at a hotel for the weekend with family for a little getaway, swimming and margauritas all weekend!

Great family photos, and lovely daughter. Just wait it gets worse, my baby just became a father. Last year when my oldest daughter turned 30, now that was a real eye opener, made me feel pretty old.

Thanks Marla.
I'm sure the grandparent days will be coming soon enough for me, sometimes I almost feel like it already with my younger brothers little ones, he's much younger and feels almost like my kid or nephew than a brother.

A former classmate of mine made it. Our boys are 18 and 16, they keep getting "funnier"

Sounds like a great party and I love the cake, perfect for her. I'm afraid I'm at the next level, grandson just put to bed with a few tears as he has been here for 2 sleeps now and misses his mom.

How long is the little guy staying?

His mother has the flu so we picked him up yesterday and will return him tomorrow. Not soon enough as far as he is concerned but in the past we have had him as long as 10 days. 2 days is perfect, you get to do a bunch of things and send him home so you can get other things done. He is four now so lots of fun but harder to keep entertained on a rainy day.

OTOH I think we wore him out!!

Cute little guy, he's gonna get an awful crick in the neck sleeping like that for long!

I'm a good Gran, I stretched him out after taking the picture. When he woke up he cried for 1.5 hours wanting to go home to Moma :banghead: First words this morning were "going to see Moma"

Wow Jackie, he is getting so big.... how fast they grow. Tae has gotten better right now about crying for mom and dad but there was a time he cried so hard he fell asleep on the steps, got a pic. before moving him. Hope his mom feels better soon.

I hear ya about feeling old. In a meeting at work the other day and one of the guys in the room was celebrating his 21st birthday. I started at the company 8 years before he was even born.

Ron, Great looking family you have there. Good to hear that you spoil yourselves as a unit... many families today do not!

Jackie, Your grandson looks like a little Harry Potter with them glasses! Guess he's staying at Hogwarts' while his mom is recovering! :LOLsm:

Yes, our little Harry come to school to learn the magic of fish and flowers.

I'll be glad when he gets new glasses or at least lenses, those are so scratched I'm amazed he can see out of them. Next month he gets his eyes tested again. They are hoping that by the time he is 7 he will not need them anymore.
