Pool Vac

Has anyone ever tryed to use one of those pool cleaners that sit on the bottom and move around ? Just wondering if they would work if hooked up to a pump and then returned to a filter before going back to the pond. It would be like a retro fit bottom drain, but always on the move.

Peg, I believe those pool vac's are designed with use of a pretty heavy duty pump.. like 1.5 hp and up for suction draw,.. and they typically connect to a pool skimmer.

How you would diy this for a pond, dunno..? Do-able..? Probably.
