ALL ARE WELCOMED TO ATTEND

COKPC (http://www.cokpc.ca/)'s next meeting is becoming a fun 'tradition'. Eugene pulls the koi out of his mud pond every October to bring them into the greenhouse ponds for winter. The past couple of years COKPC members have been there to help. This is a nice collection of koi and seeing them upclose this way is a wonderful experience.

Hey Peg, I see you got to work with the fish whisperer but the real one was sitting on the bench taking pics :HAHA: Smart girl staying out of that cold water.

Eugene's fish have never looked so good and they have grown since I saw them.

Terri got the day off from work. She was kickin back. It was a real treat to see how Ian handled the big ones. He's the man with the golden fish hands :frisbee: The rest of the pics are now uploaded. Check them out when you have time. http://s157.photobucket.com/albums/t72/magmaos/

Hmmmm, some of those 'babies' lack comformity  skinny tails and fat bodies.

I see Peter took the high road and stayed out of the water as well, smart man, tell him his dogs miss him.

Great pics, thanks for sharing them

These days I'd be tempted to leave them there. :frisbee:

So did you get enough practise to catch your own fish now???

Yeah! I'm Just gonna bag them ! :HAHA: Ian gave me some really good tips, and it was good to see where to place your hands and how to move them around. Found out the boys are the ones that put up the fight & the girls just go with the flow. :frisbee:

Not my girls.... certainly not GG!! who looks tame enough until you reach for her. Mind emptying the pond is cheating :frisbee: :HAHA:

Pictures are great Peg thanks. Absolutely huge beautiful fish, can't imagine the weight in that net or trying to bring one in, but the pictures make it look like he didn't have any problems. It's easy to edit the group of pictures and reverse them in order on Photobucket.
