View Full Version : A Visitor to the pond
We have had quite a few birds to the pond this year. They love to drink and bath in the water falls. And some others
I had these macro lens for my camera for some time. I pulled them out to play with them and here is what I got.
Nic pics. I love cedar waxwings, very pretty birds. That one tried to hide on you, must be camera shy  . They come to my yard in late summer to eat the elder berries. Ponds attract a lot of birds. It's wonderful.

Very nice, except the the furry tailed rat drinking from the pond.
I've not seen cedar wax wings here but we do get the Baltimore Orioles. Saw one in the park yesterday but didn't take my camera. Wouldn't you know that would be the one time a deer stands in the path and looks at the dogs and I.... I've heard of the city deer but that was the first time I actually saw one. Foxes, pheasants yes, but not cyotes either.

Cool pics, we don't see any squirrels like that around here only greys and red, I suppose they all taste the same. :jaw:

I did have this guy show up, but he's not big enough for frog legs. :HAHA:
Love to see toads in the garden, that one looks like he's found a good home for the daylight hours.

I raised a bunch of toadpoles a couple of years ago and they all grew into tiny little toads and hit the road, ungrateful things.
