Covers off

Peter & I finally got the cover off this morning :thumbsup: Vac'd the bottom got the pump set right and the returns set right. Cleaned the filters & did a water change. Fish look good, no interest in food, only worms and algae on the sides. Spent the afternoon spliting plants and cleaning up around the yard. Here are the first pics of the year. Going to pull all the plants out from around the pond and replace with ledge rock slabs. What a :censored: mess in the spring and fall. MUD everywhere !grrrr

nice, are the pots in the pond for the fish, that is a neat idea if they are.

Hi Marla,
We put the pots in last year to give the fish a place to hide. They went from 150 gal to 3600 gal of open water. They still use them from time to time. Will be good for the new ones comming this spring.

Hi CFL, Yes they are doing good for there first outdoor spring. They had a good scarf of pellets tonight. I was glad to see them eat. They grew a bit over winter. Hope to net them soon and take some up date pics.
