What is the purpose of websites that sell koi, doctoring their pics? Wouldn't the prospective customer be indignent if the koi was bought and then not satisfied with the purchase?

BB,
I don't know of a site that sells koi from doctored pics? It'd be more trouble than it is worth...now Glamour shots in mags ....well that is bad enough but no money is being traded for fish that look like those.

I thought the pics at Peter Waddington's site looked pretty doctored, actually overly doctored.

You can doctor a photo to make orange looking hi, more red. Pretty easy. Here's an example of a quick job. A little more work and you could also whiten the white.

Only think I do to my photos is crop them so they are the right size. I may remove glar spot on the water because its destracting to the eye. But thats it.
