Cooper is an ever canging fish. Now she is my forest fire fish and I love her. Past years she's been dark and frumpy, far from the fish I originally bought.

She's under Alice in this pic

Glad to see I'm not the only one with ice, do wish I had a bit more algae for them to graze on though. Love the color change on Cooper, much nicer to me then the origianal. I really like the looks of Alice, she's beautiful.

Alice was bought with Cooper and he has changed a great deal as well.

Alice looks a lot darker on that picture, but still very pretty. Love the way the individual scales appear.

Both Alice and Cooper have lost most of their white. It always amazes me that Alice is commented on more often than any fish in the pond with the exception of GG of course. To me he looks like a halloween fish but everyone else seems to just love him.... beauty and the eye for sure, must be something wrong with mine.

nothing wrong with you, if we all didn't have likes and differences think how boring a place the world would be, all the same art, architecture, breeds of pets, etc. etc. etc. , of course I guess we all wouldn't mind because we'd like it. So I'm glad we can be different. My husband and I disagree on our favorite koi in the pond also, he just better never decide to get rid of my favorites or it will be all out war!!!!

Smith and I disagree on the koi as well. GG is his favourite probably because she always comes to hand for him. He was mad that I gave Marmalade away as she was also a no fail hand feeder. Still I didn't have room for two huge orange females in the pond so one had to find a new home. Sad that she passed there.... My favourite died a couple of years ago and I haven't found room in my heart to replace him with any of the current lot.
