View Full Version : Amber's a new guppie mom
I while back Jackie asked how Amber's guppies, that she got from Terrie this summer were doing. If they had babies yet. Had I replied right then I would have said they are good and no babies. Well last night I hear all this noise after I go to bed. I get up to see whats going on and find out we have guppie babies. Not sure how many just yet. Hey Terrie your a Gramma !rofl

:frisbee: You are twice a grandmother here Terri and by the looks of them, twice more soon. Do they ever stop??? And no one eats them either....
I think when the great nephew returns from Calgary I will gift him with the two males. That way I can reduce the population explosion for a while and his mother won't have to worry about a large tank. He asked for a pregnant one

Not true, I didn't feed for3 days and the guppy babies are still safe. Too fast for those old rainbows. Maybe I need another fish.
Gramma four times over. I have another one ready to pop !rofl Good thing the local pet store will take them. We have at least a dozen babies from what I can see. Was hoping the shark would get a few but no such luck. They are just under 1/4". Ill try to get pics but the light is out on the AQ.

Another batch of 20 or so born last night. Although I think a few of the previous ones were eaten, certainly the tail of one of the males has a big chunk missing. I've stopped feeding again yesterday but the baby numbers look the same.
Were down a few to, but I think were due for some more soon. I'll try to get a pic now that you can see the somewhat.
