Chris is a good guy. It's a home-based biz. Haven't been in over a year. Not heard any 'bad' things about him or the fish he sells...

Hi Terri, Thanks for the info. I was thinking that the next time Im down there I would stop in and check it out. I go through Bradford on my way to your place. Its funnny according to the directions I go right pass the place. I thought it was a garden center. Didnt realize they were all about fish.

last time I was there was about 7 years ago and I was talking to a friend last nite and she goes regularly and she like it as its very quiet and personal service not like big outfits ..... I now live in Atlantic Canada so I miss the place !

Thxs Mountian Man, its nice to hear good things about a place. Im in Owen Sound and we only have the local pet store to deal with. They do a good job but Koi are still new to them. Its nice to have other options for places when it comes to getting supplies. I like dealing with the smaller places. Like your friend said they are more personalble and take the time to spend with you. As the name says (newbie) I can use the help and experiance of those who know more. Terri and Jackie have been really good to me that way. Its good to have a place to call or go to and not feel like you are being rushed to buy and then pushed out the door.

Chris is our local pond supply store, and he's always been very helpful in answering questions. Like most SOHO businesses, unless you call ahead to confirm he's there you're taking a chance just dropping by. His prices are fair, and he has a pretty fair sized inventory of most things a ponder could want.

Jackie....if you're headin' up 11, I'd hope you'd detour to check out the fin-kids here in Innisfil.
