A double Thanks to Ian

First I WOUld like to thank Ian for the gift of a very handsome Shiro Itsu. Terri brought him yesterday and unfortunately with all that was going on I missed taking a good shot of him then but he is settling in with the wakin and small koi in the greenhouse pond. neither pic shows how handsome he is. Can't wait to put him in the main pond. I bet he's sorry he's missing all fun I can hear while I type this.

A second thanks for looking after my dear Marmalade as she came through your place on her way to her new home. Seems she was just a tad bigger than we thought. A thanks to Chris for taking care of her and Mellow Yellow on the way to their new home.

Marmalade is about 22 or 23 inches. I'd guess that the new guy is about 14 inches but Terri knows better.

A cow fish is a Shiro UTSURI :frisbee:

I hope you enjoy him Jackie :) Marm is doing well in her new home and I hear is eating shrimp like it was free! I did get that look from both as if "thank god we're in a bigger bag!" :grin:

Dogs are Shitzu's but Itzi doesn't care if I misspell his type. so far he hates me but I am sure once I break out the shrimp we'll be friends.

Fish behaviour is facinating. All the babies in the inside pond were nervous, even the wakin. Then 4 left and one new bigger addition and suddenly the wakin are at the surface looking to be fed... but the new fish is hiding under the veggie filter. Why did they suddenly get confident? All the babies including the green one and the two black ones Terri missed are up and feeding when I am there but the Shiro Itsuri is sulking. (see Ian, I practised spelling it right <LOL>)

If I'd had more confidence in my knots I'd have laid the bags on their sides but was afraid of leaks. Thanks again and thanks for the report on Marm. I do miss her.
